I have some extra door panels that are not worth saving but is it worth saving the chrome parts from them? I will save the emblems but I dont know if I should bother with the chrome trim?
Ed, I would say if the trim is in decent shape you should save it because most people in the past have just tossed them. Now the supply is less and years from now it will even be less. When you buy new door panels I don't think you get the trim just the panel. I took a set off a 66 at a junk yard that the panels were trashed. I was glad I took it. I found a set of 66 door panels at Hershey swap meet missing the trim. They are going in my car soon :beer. Bob jerseysky66
