I was wondering if you guys could give me a rough estimate on what a '64 skylark with a 300/340 and with p/w,p/m, and p/s would be worth, the only thing it needs is a trunk lid.
    Thanks Philip:Do No:

Mine is a 2 door hardtop with power windows, air, rally wheels, a new interior and will soon be painted. I put new 245 60's on the rear and 195 60's on the front.

I have rebuilt the front suspension and have new bushings for the trailing arms, and mine came from the desert (29 palms, and I think that it was bought new in Palm Springs). It has absolutely no rust, and has never seen bondo.

The thing idles at 60# oil pressure and runs 180 all of the time. It starts on the first turn and runs perfectly. The PO tells me that the engine and trans have been rebuilt (maybe) and it uses absolutely no oil. He also said that the radiator was replaced a few years ago, and the battery is brand new.

I expect that I should be able to get over $6500 for it. The latest NADA old car guide (I know that it is just a guide) says that it is worth over $7,350. I think that the virgin body will probably make it easier to sell.
I hope that I'm not being too optomistic. If I am, I think that a 455 and disc brakes would make it a super car!!!!!
