    Mark,
Year-One sells a reproduction set of the drip rail mouldings for $108. It is their part number BN500LHRH. It is listed on their website under body, moulding/trim/lenses, '64-'67 Exterior body components

    Brian,
Have you used those? I have heard negative opinions about them, so I was looking for an original set.

No, I haven't used them--just seen them in the catalog. I have my originals and I think that theyare in useable shape--they were in the trunk when I got the car. Sine mine had a vinyl top that was rusty underneath, they must have come off easy. What were the negative comments you heard about the repo's? I was planning to order them, but will stick with my originals if the new ones are junk. I have the info for a guy that re-annodizes aluminum parts. he did a bunch of trim for my friend's '78 F-250 4x4 and they looked perfect. It is like $10 a foot to get done though.

I thought I read sometime ago on another forum (Chevelles I think) that they didn't fit, and the quality was poor. So my plan was to stay away from them. I guess I figured there are quite a few a-body's out there, so finding a set to at least re-anodize wouldn't be too difficult. I could be wrong. Someone in the past had taken mine off, and they must have used a screwdriver, and really messed them up.

I'm not sure about the 65's, but on 66's, some cars used stainless steel drip moldings.

That is intersting--wish mine were stainless! My '66 has the annodized alumimum ones on it, and so does my '64 Skylark and my '65 GS.

Walt, there was a move to stainless on the drip rails for some 66 models, I don't know why. My 66 Impala coupe has stainless drip mouldings. All the 64-65 a-body cars I've ever seen, whether Chev or BOP, have been anodized aluminum.
