1962 Skylark is starting to sag, would like a set of new or reproduced front and rear coil springs, standard height, fronts seem to be available at major retailers, (O'Rielly) but cannot find rears--any sources? Not excited about shims, spacers, etc. for current springs. (engine is correct 215 ci aluminum V8). (I wasn't sure the best forum to post this request in, so it's also in 'parts wanted').
    Thanks in advance,
    Tom

I recently installed Global West 1/2" "drop" rear springs with Prothane insulators on my 67. It raised the rear about an 1 1/2" even though they are supposed to drop the rear a 1/2" from stock ride height. With the 1" drop springs in the front, I'm real happy with the new stance. I know youre looking for stock ride height but I figure I'd share my recent experience with springs anyway.

If your F85 is the same year, it should use the same springs.
