'61 LeSabre wagon - $1

A lot of people list "$1" in Craigslist ads because they have to list a price, but don't know what to ask.

Wonder what was ordered differently being "special duty built". If not mistaken the 401 was only available in the Invicta & Electra so that would be one item. Must have been a fire department with some money, a lot cheaper wagons available to fill the need of a fire department

 

You'd think special ordering a 401 in a LeSabre would cost more than a base Invicta wagon...doesn't make much sense.

 

There was no Invicta wagon in 61, it was a one year oddity

 

63 leSabres had 401 didnt they? 64 was first year of 300 in a LeSabre

 

I believe 62 was the first year for the 401 in LeSabre

 

So 364 in 61?

That would explain why someone would convert a LeSabre. In that case, it'd be kind of neat; trick it out to be the Invicta it should have been if it was offered.
