My interior is shot. I'm looking at material now and door panels from SMS, but I have a few questions about things I think I can do myself.
First. What exactly do I use to duplicate the hardboard in areas like door panels, rear window panel, side panels, etc.
Also, what would the original finish have been on the rear window panel? Painted hardboard or a covering of some sort? (mine has a black cloth over the water damaged hardboard panel now.)
What do I use to reproduce the rounded edges by the door frames?
Is ther supposed to be carpet on the bottom of the door panels? (or was that added on my car to hide the water damage?
What is the cheapest source for quality weatherstipping for this car vintage? (it seems to be twice as much as it is for my '65 and three times as hard to find!)
And lastly(for now) what is supposed to be on each side of the rear gench seat between the seat and the doors? (mine currently has aftermarket carpet)
Is there a resource out there that can answer these questions for me?

    Thanks!
