Beautiful car....but you'd think for six figures they could throw in a set of floor mats!

Right, just like at that Ruth's Chris steak house. They charge $75 or so for a steak and you would think they could afford to throw in a baked potato.... Noooo, that's a $10.00 side order. They could stick it at that joint! Never again... It may just be Ruth's or Chris's car for all we know.:p

"Owned by one family until about 12 years ago. I have the original owner's certificate. That owner apparently performed the restoration and passed a few years later. The car was sold at auction to a dealer whom I purchased the car from."

Sold for about $105k at auction in 2011. Then was listed for $139k by dealer after that. Don't know how much the current owner bought it from the dealer for.

Copy of ad when dealer had it for sale:

Try finding a set of correct floormats for a 58 Buick, it may well have a set of cheap mats to go with it, but if I were photographing a car of this caliper, I sure would not include them in the photo's. If they had the correct ones, then by all means include them in pictures

"Breathtaking" isn't the word for it, I don't know what the proper word would be to describe that. "Incredible" might be one. This looks like a flip...

I have had the good fortune to have driven 3 of these beauties, you feel as close to being Hollywood leading man in that era as you could ever get. I've driven numerous exotic cars, Roll's, Bentley's, a Bugatti Veyron and none did I feel as Royal as driving those Limited convertibles. This one certainly is about as nice as they come.

You're a lucky guy Keith, I would love to drive this car myself. Hell, even a ride in one would be a treat.

That one was a stunning beauty as well, I remember seeing it listed prior to the auction. The Buick wire wheels are kind of like the the later chrome wheels, stick them on regardless if they are correct or not.

I am sooo happy that I don't have this kinda cash, as I would never dare to drive it on the road.
