Looking for some front and rear end ideas. Putting a '63 401 - '64 T400 in my '54 Roadmaster. Trying to figure out what to do with the front end to help with handling, short of a clip. But then there's this huge PS steering box sitting on the column that I'd like to get out of the way. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Gary

    hey gary,i got a 50 buick sedanette and put a k-car
power rack and pinion in it and it works great.its a
rear steer and i shortened the steering arms to make it
turn a little faster.here is some pics including 12" disc
    brakes on the stock spindles

By the way, I have a '50 Sedanette as well (4 door). It's the only 4 door that appeals to me from the 50's. Anyway, more pics would be great if you have them. I'd love to see what you did with the column. From the pictures, it looks like you keep the basic suspension components and made a bracket to hold the rack. How did you upgrade to disc brakes? Thanks! Gary (gnoub51@gmail.com).

    i'm using a 70's buick column w/tilt.the brake adapter
came from scarebird .com and comes with spacers and
instructions with a list of what you need to buy at your
local parts store.the adapter kit was $135 and the parts
    -rotors,bearings,seals,calipers,pads, hoses were were
under $200 [$60 less if you have caliper cores].i had to
reverse the brackets from side to side because of the
shortened steering arm as the tierod end hit the caliper.
ialso put airride on all 4's heres some pics
