Not sure this one is as nice as it appears in the picture - bet the seats are toast under the covers, the engine compartment is awful as is the trunk and underside. First impressions are great but this is one that may be a 50 footer. It could be a great candidate though to be done right. The Specials have always been softer in the market than the big body V8 53's. It appears to maybe be Glacier Blue on the bottom like my old one.
It's in my garage now. A solid car for the money. Needs a little general detailing and tires/belts but nothing is missing, paint and bright work are very nice, one family owned (seller's dad gave him the car in 68) documented since sold new in Oct 1953 and came with 10 boxes of various parts/trim collected over the years. It was bittersweet pulling it out of the sellers driveway, I could see the pain in his face of letting go of 60 plus years of memories.
Like I said over at the Buick Club site, I think you got a great deal. It is Glacier Blue, the color mine's supposed to be. It's definitely a nice color on that car.
Seeing your 53 reminds me of the one I had, a Super V8, my second car during school days. Had it painted black with a new set of those nylon seat covers. Looked great, only sold it because I found a 56 Century 2 door HT with walker glass packs and it's color combo was just like yours with white over blue. Great memories of both cars! Still think the 53s are good looking.

The top of mine was actually Jordan Grey, would love to eventually own another 53. Mine was sold in a divorce settlement.
