It's very pretty, but it's a Special with a straight 8 on a Dynaflow; - in other words, boring and slow. If this was a Super with the V-8, then yes, I could see spending that kind of dough. That price would be very attractive if not cheap for a well equipped Roadie, but it's expensive for a Special. I have a feeling this car will be on offer for a long time yet, until it settles out around $9 or $10K.
There really isn't a lot of performance in the V-8 Dynaflow of that era either. There isn't a lot of difference in the performance between a 52 Roadmaster straight 8 and a 53 Roadmaster V-8. Bob H.
