  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things.   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete.     How hard would it be to drop compression enough to drive it on cat-pee gas? I hate to mess with a good thing,but I would want to drive it. In some situations,I have been able to achieve that by installing a thicker head gasket,but it depends what is in there now.

    It's got .040 Cometic now with about a 61cc combustion chamber.

    There might be some room to slightly mill the pistons. I'm not certain, just guessing.

    Even if you had a set of custom pistons made, you'd be far ahead of a new build.

    That's what I'll likely do if it doesn't sell.

    Gary, I CANNOT believe that you never sold that engine for that money! Smokin' deal!! I have about 3 times that much in my Tomahawk build!! If I were in the market for another spare motor.......... I'd be on this in an instant!!

    I keep thinking of transferring everything over to a Tomahawk to build a bullet proof more bracket friendly engine than my 560.

    But then I think piston update, larger intake valve and more camshaft, it never stops...
