This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. LIBC had good shows when I was a member in 1995-2000, with my 666 skylark gs. Back then they had it at a dealer in huntington/melville off of route 110. I left queens and we have no LIBC is south florida! argggh

That was Tom Rice Buick! By the time the awards were given, Tom Rice was three sheets to the wind. We practically had to prop him up! LOL The club meeting is tonight, so I'll ask Marty. I bet he's got them. What color was it?

Jason, I missed your post. My 66 gs was so dark green that for most it was black. Red pinstriping high on the fender and back--not on the body line. My official NY license plate was "BUICK GS." one of the first flat plates-no raised lettering. Parchment interior buckets and tach on console. Rear bumper had no chrome on it as it was apparently pulled out while in the process of being rechromed. hector

Did you buy that car from "garage door Bob" in East Meadow?

Yes I believe that's him. So you know the car? bought it in 1995; brought it to s. florida and had to sell it around 2009

Yep, know the car. I lived in EM at the time too. I remember seeing it at Bellmore with a for sale sign. I think Bob moved to Florida too! You should look him up

too funny. I saw the car at Bellmore on a Friday night. I was at Bob's house Saturday at 10am and decided to buy the car. On Monday evening, bob drove the car to my house in Queens, where we exchanged registration for cash with the car parked in my driveway. Bob was very nice and helped out by bringing the car to me (and had a friend follow him for his ride back). Otherwise, I had to pay him, leave the care at his house while I registered the car and got plates and returned for the car a day or two later. I had no way to transport car other than drive it. A tow from LI to queens would have cost what i paid for classic insurance on it for several years. Bob made the transaction eashy. That's Buick people for you! Thanks Bob!!
