455 Weight

    I'm trying to arrange shipping of a 455 from California to Canada and I'm trying to determine a shipping weight. This is a long block with all the manifolds. Any ideas?

    Ive read a fully dressed engine is approx 770lbs w/AC, carp, fan, flywheel, etc.

    Average Japanese Carp is 5-8 lbs

    The chart looks quite accurate, I recall the BBB to be right at 600lbs. and was touted as the lightest of the B-O-P family of big block engines.
