I purchased a '67 Buick Skylark for the rebuilt 455 Stage 1 in it for my 69 GS400. I've got the opportunity to buy a reasonably priced rebuilt Buick 350. Would the small block be a direct drop in (engine mounts etc?) into the '67?

    Thanks in advance.

It will be a straightforward swap other than the mounts. You will need to locate some 65’ to 67’ small block Buick frame pedestals then can use the common rubber mounts on the block. Everything else should be no sweat. The big block conversion mount pedestals you are removing can be sold. They will fit 64’ to 67’ Buick A body wanting to do a big block conversion. Factory 350 exhaust manifolds will fit fine. Headers will fit with some clearancing.

The wiring harness is all in the right spot and all the brackets will work. As AVMechanic noted, your frame mounts will need to change to the small block variant. Someone on here probably has a set they would sell cheap.

my 66 had a 73 350 in it when i bought it and it was a direct drop in from the other small block. mine is built from 2 different cars one a convert gs other a hardtop skylark if. body is from the skylark. Its kinda a hodgepodge of several cars actually to have the best stuff. Vin will still show its a skylark though so i guess its a clone. Just figured id point out since sig says 66 gs and a 66 gs had a nail head not a small block.
