455 Stage 1 fuel pumps

Definitely going to ask for a picture next time. Rookie mistake by seller, or????
Found another box of stage carbs, never verified what was in the box, advertise them and account for each one?

 

I'd go easy on the seller. He made good to each buyer, and was honest and up front about what the issue was. It must have been somewhat embarrassing, but it was an honest and understandable mistake. I've had plenty of stuff show up in boxes that wasnt right, he just got a whole case of 'em.

 

Part number on package had correct part number on packing slip. Once opened pumps were mislabeled.

 

**** happens. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt. It’s being handled well. I think all involved are just disappointed more than anything. All good.sometimes it’s hard to suppress the cynic within.

Just disappointed. Not majorly upset(other than not getting one), but glad that it's being addressed and taken care of. Hopefully he'll find some more stashed away that maybe we can stay in line for?

That's just the way it goes sometimes. I too would wish to stay in line, just in case.

 

I ran across the two spares I bought still in the box.
Are these functional for our 455 Stage 1’s or don’t fit at all?
