Gathering parts for my build, I have the edlebrock 60049 heads with no porting, which intake would be best? Performer, B4B, TA's ? I do not have hood intake.
I would vote for an original B4B since you don't have the cold air hood. Since you don't have any additional head porting, there's not much HP to be had but, the weight savings is worth a little. You can paint it Buick red if you want the sleeper look.
Thanks, I wasn't sure how the edlebrocks lined up with TA's Intake as far as matching ports. I figured without head work it really didn't matter. Just looking for the best match.
Sp1 is my suggestion...you will pick up power and tq in most all cases worst case you loose a fraction of tq but gain more midrange and upper rpm power....plus it's a good lookin intake
