I pulled a 455 out of a 1974 limited to rebuild so i wouldnt blow up the matching numbers 400 in my 68 Gs ragtop. The good news was that for some unknown reason it had big valve heads and according to the numbers they where original 1974. My questionis that when i went to put my old intake on i had 4 holes on each side where exhaust would blow out. I installed the egr manifold on it to drive for now but i was wondering if the Performer manifold is designed to cover these. If not does one have to drill and tap all these so my old intake will work. Thanks for any help in advance. Thanks ED K

Yes the performer is designed to cover those. You need to get the 73up gasket when you do it..
