    Lola455 What it do?

i bought a 90 conv. mustang, had a 73 455, heads are 67 430, with stage 1 valves, 350 trans., 3500 stall,( TCI conv.) 373 gear, i dont know the wieght, the only cam i have is the poston GS 107, i know its really radical but i have a set of RHOADES lifters new in the box, also have valve springs to match. would those lifters tone it down a notch or two, and give me some vacuum to work the power brakes, and will this combo make enough power to get into the 11s on motor. i think car wieght is 3300 lbs. with driver. by the way its GT conv. I only paid a 100 dollars for the the car. i only want to use spare parts that i already have.

motor is not only in the car, i even used the factory motor mounts on the car and modified the mounts on the motor and made them a stud type mount by using the 4 cylinder motor mounts from another mustang. can you tell me how to get pictures on to the computer and this website. i have put these motors in all types of vehicles, i have one in full size 81 blazer. i one that i just put in a 1970 gremlin. i dont like chevy motors. i even have in my everyday driver, 1994 chevy ex.cab truck and i used the 700r4 with a trans .adpter plate. looks factory.

    northcorner Guess what I'm thinking..

11's should be no problem with that combination. I had a '71 8:1 motor with stage 1 iron heads, with a lot less cam that went 11.80 in a 3700 lb. chebby truck! That small fox body should be pretty salty with that BBB in it. Traction will be the biggest problem.

To add a pic, when you hit "Post Reply," scroll down and click
"Manage Attachments." Find your file, and voila! You may have to re-size pics to make them smaller. Easy to do in MS Paint (which I think comes on every new computer these days.) In Paint click Image, Stretch/Skew, and choose a percentage to make the pic smaller and save.
