i have 2 halo kits for the 455 buicks. we have 2 stud kits available. we have one if you want to mill caps so they lay flat on the caps. or we have longer studs so they set on the caps with no machining. this kit includes extra nuts and washers the halo kit with the shorter studs is 175.00 the longer stud kit is 195.00 these halos will not work with stock style pans.

Would you trade the long studs and halo for a set of TA tall valve covers? You can PM me or email me @ 19smoke48@charter.net

    Thanks

    Dave,

What pan(s) must be used with either halo? Can a halo be used instead of a TA block girdle with similar results? Thanks

ken. there are 3 different pans you can use. sre-stefs and t/a; the pans are deeper in the front so the halo clears. we were using stefs pans but we would fit everything so you wont have to. the t/a and sre pans are second to none in quality both are great pans. stefs makes a good one too. the halo does help strenghten the bottom end but in no way is it a replacement for the girdle. mike and the boys at amp have used them on 650 to 700 horse motors. you can check with them. thanks dave
