Having trouble locating my compression tester. I heard the engine run for about 30 seconds before purchase on an extremely cold day, so i didnt know too much about it. But yesterday i was about to do a tune up on it, plugs, oil, filters, etc... and decided to fire it up before, AND......it doesnt really need it. She purrs, and has quite a bit more torque than im use to with my other toys. I was kind of surprised it was so healthy. Ill try and find that comp tester today, or at the very least post a vid of the thing starting up and running. Bump.....
Ive done a tune up on the engine, it now has new plugs, gapped, and new 8mm yellow "performance" wires all around. All points stuff is new, and previous owner had replaced cap on dist as well, looks like it was never used on the inside. Im working on getting a video of the car running and a few pix of the engine. Al, 155psi on all cylinder except number 8 which was at 100psi. Thats what i figured, which is why i didnt bother. However i guess i could look them up next time im there. Any other questions, feel free to ask.
Casting is 1241735 (72-75) 455. ' Video to come shortly. The tuning made a big difference. It sounds much much better now.

BUMP! Still have it, still for sale. If any Ottawa folks are interested (or know anyone in the buick circle that may be interested) please send them my way. Heres a few items to sweeten the deal; 1) Comes with the dual exhaust and mufflers that was in the car. 2) Comes with a working 4bbl Q-jet (chev) if wanted. 3) I will also offer to deliver this (free of charge) to the following locations, and anywhere in between in the coming months. I am heading to the Stirling swap meet May 2,3rd, and can deliver it to that location. We will be taking the 416 to 401 from Ottawa, and the heading north at Belleville. If you live along that route, we can deliver to you. Then I will be heading to the Orillia Swap meet (close to Barrie) some time in June i beleive. We will be taking hwy 7 i beleive, and find the straightest route to Orillia from Ottawa. If you live along that route we can also arrange something. I will also be headed to Lake Nippissing along the 417/hwy 17 from Ottawa. We pass places like Petawawa, Deep River, Matawa, North Bay, and are relatively close to Sudbury. If you live any of those locations, we can deliver to you. This trip will happen a couple times this year. BUMP!
