Was the 425 4x2 motor ever offered for the 1966 Skylark GS? I know that it was in the Wildcat and Riviera but can't find any solid information about the Skylark.

to put it simply.... no. The most potent engine ever offered to the public in a 66 GS would be a quadrajet equipped 401. there are stories of pilot cars that had higher compression and some other goodies and were stroked but i dont remember all the details.
