Dave, I didn't realize that you were actually from the city of Pgh. I'm just a few miles north in Shaler (but then again I'm never really in Shaler...work keeps me away) If it makes you feel any better the property taxes are going up 2 mils here. Taxes on my 35 acres (with a building) in Clarion County are only 10% of what 1/5 of an acre (with a residence) is in Allegheny County. Just elect Mayor Smurphy for one more term. He'll work it out...
Cool Beans Shaler LOL Yea it Just Keep getting WORSE!!:ball: Now that Clown For the State Trying to Raise Friggin Sales from 6%Tax to 7+1/2 Not to Mention the ADDITIONAL 1% Mayor JURKY started 3-4 yrs ago was sa POSS TO KEEP HOUSING TAXES LOW(Unreal)For a TOTAL of 8+1/2%:jd: Don`t NO HOW they Just Get away with this S*** Realy Sucks ! E-mail me instead using Board You Need Somethin or Looking Might Know were to Get it LOL Take Care, Dave
Good Stuff! Wow, Thanks for the info on the Stage stuff. To tell you the truth, I would love to have copies of the whole article about the '68 even though I have a '67. I read the above info and I would love to have my car in the 14's stock. I was close in my 67 a few weekends ago here in TX. My best time was 15.55 in the quarter, but that is on an engine that has been sitting for 18 years! Did they (Buick) offer anything over the counter in '67 that anyone knows about. I am pretty strict for myself as far as keeping things stock. I was thinking originally about building a Stage motor 400 for my car to go out and play with. I would also love to make my 67 motor the best it could have been in 67. Here I am lining up in the right hand lane. I almost took him (I wish), a nice TR that went 10.71 @ 127mph!
There is a Jan, 1968 Hot Rod magazine on e-bay right now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3557867983&category=2241 This has the '68 GS road test and shows the '68 Stage 1 and 2 options.
68 Hot Rod I can email the Hot Rod road test to anyone that want's it. I have a copy that I scanned a long time ago. Jarrod, I'll go ahead and send you a copy.
Re: 68 hot rod Sure, but, you'll have to give me your email address. We can't seem to attach files through here. PM me or email me at DRS4554@aol.com.
Geuss not It didn't work. I've seen files attached for download before. How does it work?o No: Maybe the file is too big.
Dave - What is the file extension? The valid ones are - pdf gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg xls doc msg If it is one of the above, what is the error message you're getting?
It's a zip file. I didn't get an error message. The file just wasn't there. I think the file is just too big. It's 3MB.
The limitation on uploaded files is about 150K I'll host this article for a while to give people a chance to download it. This is pretty cool knowledge. Maybe I'll host this on the Stage1 registry website (but I cannot access that FTP site at work). Enjoy the article for now, and thanks Dave!! :TU:
