Hey guys .... lets hear some #s on the 400.. I know most are running 455s or boring to 430 but I have a couple of 400s I could use that are in good shape.. Thanks,Marc
400 times My 68 GS400 ran 14.6-14.7 with a stock high milage engine and trans and a 2.93 open rear. It's pretty much power everything without air conditioning.
Original 400 with 29,500 miles. The car has been sitting for 18 years and it is running a little slow. (I HOPE). Automatic with 2.93 open rearend ran 15.55 in the 1/4. I am hoping to improve on this with a stiffer transmission and posi. At least low 15's. I would love to be in the 14's but what ya gonna do? :Brow:
