What is everyone using in place of this part that doesnt exist? This is Gr. .851 part number 1364596. Or are you like me and dont run one at all?

I spoke to Dave Kleiner and he says he sells a replacement seal that looks like an accordion. Has anyone tried using a Chevelle type ball stud with the integral seal? I know Buickfranc was going to make one, but couldnt find a specimen good enough to get measurments off of.

Using nothing. But with so few miles per year, and relative frequent R & Rs compared to miles driven it gets clean grease once a decade or so.

I remember that discussion. We never did get any specifics on what part number or application that Dodge substitute was. I wonder if its the same one Dave is selling?

Luckily for me, I bought one new from GM some 15+ years ago, still in the bag.

I just found an NOS 1369546 Z bar seal on Ebay for 16.99 shipped so I bought it.

I contacted Frank M to see if he's still interested in repro-ing these.
