Does anyone have a picture of the lower consolette boot that goes under the 4 speed console?I see several in magazines that say they are for the 65 to 72 Skylark but I do not know which will work the best for me.Not concerned about 100% original looking especially since once its tucked away you will never see it again..Thanks.

The boots that OPGI sells are made by Metro Moulded Rubber. They get 76.00 for the Buick lower boot for the console applications. The Chevelle boot is different

Burce, try looking up Luttys Chevys, 64/67 for a ring and they have a boot. Ring lesss than $20.00 boot just over $20.00. As for the three in the picture, my thought is the one on thr left is lower with console and upper without console for 66/7. The center is upper console but for square shifter, 65 or 68/72. The one on the right is 68/72 lower. I is difficut to tell the two that fit the ring, I now 66/7 ring is slightly smaller than 68/72. Thanks Bill.

The OPGI boot on the left appears to be the same as the Chevelle boot.
It's GM 3842926. Ground up lists it for 64-67 lower, or 64-66 w/o console.
$20 for the boot, $18 for the retainer.
The retainer is identical to my original '66 ring, except it's zinc plated.
Repo Chev floor humps match my 65-66 floor humps, so this boots fits!
Your '65 might have a different floor hump than the GS????

The Chev boot is different than the Buick, but function is the same, and even the screw holes match.
Here's a pic of my '66 boot next to the Chev boot.

Just checked the Metro site.....the #RP33R boot they show does not look like my original '66 either!
I'll have to check out some Chev/Olds/Pontiac vendors for something closer....
Apparently, some companies take the term 'Reproductino' VERY loosely!:spank:
