Ok. for the second time, I have seen a 4 speed Riv online for sale. It is a Red 64 that is done up very nicely. I can't afford the car, but can try to build my own. Have any of you ever tried it? If so, give me a little feedback. I will be attempting it on my 71 Riv. that doesn't have an X frame. I have a super T10 cornered along with an A Body z bar. Thanks.

    John,

I have no idea if it would work or not, but I too was planing on putting a 4-speed in my next boattail. :Brow: Great minds think alike eh?

Wouldn't the driveshaft have to be shorter if it was an original Buick 4-speed or a Munice? :Do No:

I have never measured them, but I think a short shaft 400 is close to the same as a 4 speed in length. I do know that M22's and Super T10's have the same splines as T-400's. I know it will work with a little work. But, any info. I could gather here might save some time in the thinking dept. Good to hear from you.
