Hey guys- I dont hang out here on the manual tranny forum very often, but I figured I'd share this with you anyway. Pedal swap kits are available from: www.ss396.com for $199. This includes the clutch and brake pedals, linkage, seals, rods, and misc. hardware. Just click on the pic of the 70 chevelle, and schroll down, or look it up manually in the "transimtion" links on the left of the page for individual parts. I bring this up here because I'v been watching E-bay for some time looking for exactly these parts, and their going for $250 USED!!!!! Hope this helps :TU:
Thats a great price, but I was under the impression from what I have read here and other places that Chevelle parts wouldn't swap over. o No:
Chevelle parts only seem to work on the 350 equiped Skylarks & GS. The BBB is specific to that model. All though I had good luck using the pedels from a 350 equiped Pontiac GT-37. Seems there are subtle differences in the bends and hole locations on the clutch pedel. The brake arm should be the same. Jim
