Hi Boys I picked up an absolutely complete 4 gear setup from a 70 gs car last fall for my 70 automatic gs and need to know the correct colors for all linkage pieces as well as muncie housing colors-anyone help or have a go to for this info? Thanks!
I beleive the colors for all the rods were gold cad. At least the reproductions are that color and so are the concourse cars I see. The case was aluminum I beleive. Eastwood Alumiblast works well.
A Cook from Canada, go figure. The bellhousing is natural, the insection cover is underhood black (30% gloss?) On the Muncie housing, you'll get differing opinions. I personally think they're supposed to be a black phosphate. Ive seen restored cars plated a silver cad.
