What a freakin' ugly car...........sheesh what was that guy on? uzzled: He's definitely never heard of a "tasteful" custom.
Of course I was just kiddin' Dave ol' buddy:beer I think all Olds are equally as good looking. Even the hatch back 442 of the late 80's:laugh:
I'd rather own a AMC Pacer than that cutlass!!!!!!!!!! I also have news for the owner:James Bond would not even ride in that car!
Had a kid who I went to school with and he had a nice Nova with a pretty bad small block. Beautiful paint, nice wheels and although I don't recall what it ran in the 1/4, It sounded awsome. He shows up one day with one of those late 80's hatch back Fo-Fourty-Two's and is all proud of himself. We all looked at him like he was a MORON!
The "Buttless Cutlass" That G body hatchback (78-80) is definitely hands down the most ugly car ever made by anyone. John Martin (works with Rubrich and Brian) has one that he races called "that thing". Think that was an omen of things to come at Oldsmobile when that P.O.S. came out in 1978.
People asked John "why would you make a race car out of that thing?" Hence the name "That Thing"
Competitive Advantage Ask John if he has a pic of that thing you can post here. It's beyond words to describe. Sure is fast, though. Does give him a good competitive advantage, though. Hard to cut a good light against him when you're puking and laughing. :eek2:
Dave, didn't someone in the Lansing area do a mid-engine conversion on one of those hatchback 442s? This was a long time ago. It looked a little (emphasize: little) like the Hemi Under Glass exhibition cars, just a whole lot uglier!
