Is there a market for a nice running, rebuilt 4 barrel 364 with less than 5000 miles on it? What's it worth? I am thinking about building one of my 401 cores to put in my 61.

    Hi,

Try putting it on the Hamb as would work well in a early Hot Rod.

Not sure on price as with anything nobody wants to pay much, and they are not a cheap engine to build, also depends how much you have in it.

Also the 4v intake is somewhat rare as only fits a 364, seen those intakes go for a nice bit of change.

    Goodluck with the sale

    Regards,
    Jim

I am on the HAMB and will, when the time comes. I was just trying to get an idea of how hard or easy it might be. Thanks

It won't sell on this site. I would list it on the AACA forum

The 364 is a great engine, but the problem is that you can overhaul a 401 or 425 for the same amount of money. As somebody suggested, it would be great engine for a rod.
