Our project vehicle which is still in the body off frame stage has a problem that has had me baffled. We had started the engine a couple of months ago and ran it a few times briefly. I felt like we might have an intake manifold leak and pulled the intake off tonight. The gasket around the heads looked like they had sealed perfectly. I blocked one side of the exaust crossover on the intake and pressured up the other side and got air blowing from the exaust crossover out of the intake port next to it. I assume this means the intake has a hole in it and is trash. Has anyone heard of this happening before? Thanks Jimo No:
