I need a good running 350 buick motor. I missed the short block 350 from a guy in Washington but I dont know if he sold it. I also would like to geta set of Forged 350 pistons. I was wondering if anyone knows what happen to the ones that were 8.5 to 1 on E-bay last week? I live in CA so it might have to be close or on the west coast to keep shipping down. Thanks Guys Doug
what price range you looking for just curious? i will be pulling my 350 out of my car in a few months ........mine is from a 73 regal........it runs good has a 2 bb on it.........the carb needs rebuilt other than that its fine i was told it only had about 64 k on it when it was dropped in.........guy i bought mine off was pretty honest
can rebuild a running motor for about $500.00 and thats whata good runner is going for. I dont need a trans got a SP400. Its going in the womans car a 67 Special thats loaded. better then the 300/sp300. I want to put a good running 350 init but I dont want to spend more then $6-800.00 on it. Any more and i can build one froma pic and pull. Thats Why I asked about the washington 350 on E-bay, the short block was only $300.00 and I didnt get back intime to bid on it. Let me now what you might want for it and how many miles you think you have on it know?? thanks doug
64,0001 lol no joke i drove it on the tralier and up and down the rd in front of the hose a few times ........front suspension was shot to bad to drive the car far when i 1st got it the motor was in bad need of a tune up....it was only hitting on 7 cylinders due to a dead plug wire........it did smoke a little right after we got that fixed......it has quit now i think it was just carbon build up in the cylinder....the traffic pump is gone in the carb and it needs rebuilt too....due to that you have to prime it a little to get it to start.........after its started it runs smooth........i have just not put much time or money in it because i plan to pull it out.......i was going to ask about 400 bucks pm me
here is a pic off it in the car........it has flat black valve covers insted of chrome now..........the whole thing goes air cleaner carb factory headers fan.....i can let you hear it seeing how its still inmy car
Got a 72 350 4 barrel out of Skylark. 42k original. Runs fine, needs nothing. I have a wiring harness, belts, motormounts, etc. Transmission to same motor too. The car was fine, I have been working on a BB, got er done and through her in. Motor is in the garage on a stand along with the tranny. 600 for everything or best. Or throw a number out there and we will work something out.
