My 1968 350 PO block (1382201 casting) for a 350-2V unfortunately had '75-81 heads (1243452 casting) on it... And antifreeze in the oil. It was only run once after a rebuild, and then stored... short block is good, but I cannot use it, as I don't have any '68-'69 heads... The intake manifold on it now is a 350-4V, with a casting number of 1260298-3. Have checked here, buick god and other websites and scoured for over an hour, and cannot find this number anywhere. Looks like at least a post-'75...??? Trying to find the best intake for my '76 350 motor that has been rebuilt 10k ago. This is going in a second Jeepster I acquired. Another SBB 350 with TBI is going into my '69 Jeepster Commando. Anyway, I have two stock 4V manifolds to choose from: this one (1260298-3), and a 1975-81 4V (1249169-1). Which one is best? Trying to eliminate all of the vacuum lines and AIR and erg crap. Related question: where is the Rochester Quadrajet carb number, and which year carb would be best for a rebuild for a stock 76 350 going in a Jeep?
