Alright.. do i have this streight?

the heads on the 350's are all the same?

    I have a 70 350-2 bbl

so then the head of this is the same as a 71 gs350 engine combo? other than year.

and the compression is made up using diffrent pistons?

and flow charrictersitics would obviously be the same between these two heads

I'm looking at getting a complete 71 gs350 engine for $200 carb to oil pan less brackets. the bottom end i hear toasted on it so it would be basicly upper end only.

    nate.

sweet so i already have the highest compression heads...
just need to get it cam and intake taken care of for now and worry about compression ratio when i do a full rebuild....

yes im keeping the 350 unless i find a decent deal on a 455 but then thats a whole new can of worms.... (12 bolt) thinkin 350 cruzer would be fine just a lil more kahonas.

    No problem there Nate!

With minimal maintenance, you really can't kill those Buick 350s.
