picked up the muncie yesterday and the guy threw in a very good centerforce clutch disc and good low miles gm rebuilt pressure plate . if i could find a real decent ( hopefully close by ) flywheel then i could use that on the "a" motor and then get the new flywheel and clutch pkg later to have balanced with the "b" motor without tearing the car apart to do it . i had a few e-mails before from a couple of you on these flywheels BUT a computer down situation cancelled all that . not a rush , planning on taking the body off the frame next weekend possibly . also open to new/forged h.d. flywheel , clutch pkg's and shifter ideas while i'm at it . thanks for any info . del
I have a nice 350 flywheel . It does need turned as it is original as removed . I would take 135.00 shipped .
ttt . sorry , been busy . just waiting to see if can find one a little closer . local guy lookin' for me also . did find one of those phone #'s from before , will try and call later . any info appreciated . thanks . del
I would strongly recommend a NEW one, as they're reasonably priced and they are made of a better steel. Try Poston or T/A perf. I am using one and it is nice qual..
andrew : yep - getting one for the $$ motor , but want to use a reg one for temp use on the "stock" motor i'm putting in first . don't want to tear things apart to balance the good motor . del
greg : just e-mailed scott ( he pm'd me a few days ago ) back last night and told him to dbl check his and if ok i'm sending him some $$ . but thanks for the reply just in case . i kinda put this back to the top last night in case some one had a fine looking aftermarket forged style flywheel / clutch / shifter kickin around . del
