I'm wondering if I just found another "quirk" with identifying an original GS California. I was responding to another board members quest for a set of '69 Skylark exhaust manifolds, he said the casting numbers were different for GS 350 and the Skylark 350. He was looking for #1383427 left and #1246658 right. I knew I had the original set of manifolds from my '69 GS California and another set from a '69 2V Skylark engine (my current 13 second block). I had never looked at the casting numbers on the manifolds but they are both the same. 1383427 left and 1381328 right. All GS California's were delivered with single exhaust from the factory (don't tell the Pure Stock racers this) and maybe that meant they used the Skylark 350 2V manifolds on the GS350 4V engine? I'm not sure what the #1246658 exhaust manifold comes back to, but who knows the casting numbers for a '69 GS 350 exhuast manifold?
