Can anyone tell me the correct carb for a 69 Buick 350 - cast iron 4bbl intake? The stamped numbers are J 12 B-1231924-E. Looking for a bolt on with minimal modifications. 350 is going in my 66 Skylark and replacing the original 300. Thanks for any help. Andy

just checked , a #29240 not #244 is what my stash contains .
but - if not worried about "correctness" ken can probably give you a few choices that will make your search easier and may actually work better for your combo and still bolt right on nice n easy . he may have one in stock ?

No. I am actually looking for my easiest install with the least amount of modifications. I appreciate the help. Andy

I actually don't need anything date coded and not looking for a showpiece. I'm just putting a 350 in my 66 driver and was looking for the easiest install for my application. Would you have anything for sale? I am looking for something I can bolt on and drive. Not looking for something to rebuild

    Yes its a Quadrajet.

I have a 1968 (7028244) core in stock I can build. No 1969s in stock

If your 69 intake doesnt have the flat carb pad, and does have the round "posts" for the rear carb bolts, it will not seal the vacuum for the secondary pulloff found on 1970+ carbs.

Pic of a 1970+ carb baseplate with the vacuum channel for the rear pulloff (not found on pre-70 carbs)

This mismatch could be overcome I suppose with a flat spacer or a .250" thick gasket, or by epoxying shut the vacuum channel on the bottom of the 70+ carb.
