I'm putting a BBB in my 66 Skylark and I'm trying to use the 340 brackets that came on the car. Can someone post up some detailed pictures of the ps brackets on a 340 engine. Thanks,
If my 65 Special were not in a position where I can't take a picture I would send you some. From memory, the cast aluminum bracket should bolt to the three accessory bolt holes in the front of the head. There is a steel bracket that goes to one of the exhaust manifold bolts, that one won't work without some modification. You may need to remake that one from scratch. The exhaust port positions are totally different between those two engines. The BB used all stamped steel brackets, totally different set-up.
