The one I've got is unusable so anything from just a block with main caps to a complete 340 would work, trying to keep the cost down though. I'm in northern Ky. Jim
i would like to know if you want to get rid of the heads and intake from this block. i realize it'll probably be till after you get your's built (just so you can cannabilize this one) but i am interested.
I have a 340 skylark that I am parting out. It used to be in the parts for sale forum. I am in eastern nJ, which might be too far. I could meet in eastern pa if necessary.
I may have to go for the $450 reman short block. Hard to pass up that kind of a price. Jim Bob, I have a couple of heads and intake that you'd be welcome to, but one of the heads is kinda rusty and the other is off a 300. Don't know if they're different or not, the 300 head is clean. Have to look at the intake to see what it is.
How about a 78k 430? Pulled from a 68 225 last year, sitting since the 80's, probably needs all, in NKY(erlanger).
