Hey guys i have a question. awhile back there was a thread abot putting a set of big bore manifolds from a land rover place in germany on a 300 first will these fit. the look like they are just manifolds with bigger ports not headers. Second i once heard that the sway bars from a 70-81 trans am were the same and you could swap them out for the stock ones on a g.s(skylark) is it true. Last how about the steering box from the same year cammaro or firebird if not do you guys know oe if any that will swap out.
    thanks adam

The question about the 300 is to be asked here, but if you want answers for the sway bar/steering box, you may have better luck posting it under "the whoa and the sway" under drivetrain and chassis.

there are threads on both the steering box and sway bar in 'the woah and the sway"

the sway bar from second gen f-bodies is indeed a direct fit. i found a 1 1/4 incher on a mid to late 70's trans am in a local junkyard. that's the best source for them, as a lot of the cars only have 7/8 bars, and some have 1 1/8. someone will need to confirm that these bars will fit earlier skylarks or not, though..i don't know if they take the same bars as 70-72s (and i belive 68-9's, for that matter)
