Has anyone put a set of long tube headers on a 300 4 speed car? Do they fit without hitting the linkages ?
    Thanks in advance

The Poston Long Tube headers interfere with the Z Bar I believe. I thought someone on here shared a picture of a set they modified to work with a four speed years ago.

There are no name on them. I bought them as a package from a Buick fanatic who did a lot of research on the 300 engine. I bought from him everything to convert a 300 2 bbl auto to a 4bbl 4-speed. Everything from the steering column to the driveshaft, all NOS parts or reconditioned. I don't believe these are Rover headers. I did have to change the motor mount frame towers on my 64 to towers and pads off a 65 A-Body. All worked out fine. I've been asked about the headers before and there is no name are markings on them.

If by chance the motor is still on the stand could you send me a pic of the drivers side. I was hoping to see the relashionship of the last tube to the trans bellhousing.
