Anyone have any info on how many 3 speed standard shift full size Buicks are out there or how many were built 1966-70 ? Were these 330 Muncie transmissions ?

In 1965 they built 600 Buick GS's with the dual quad option using 3-speed manual Ford top-loading transmissions.

I had a 1970 Wildcat Convertible with no options in 1985. Blue/ white top/ white interior, SF 455, 3 speed on the tree, no power brakes, no power options. Ran great. If I had only known what I had .... I towed my boat with it.

I think I own that blue Wildcat now. The two cars I want back are 1964 Wildcat Conv. 4 speed and 1961 Pontiac Ventura 3 sp. standard with factory 3-2's. Someone took the hitch off your blue Wildcat to repair the gas tank. I am going to put the hitch back on to tow classic race boats.

?? True on the trannies, but mated with 401 single four barrels.

I have the data on '66 Wildcats, and I can retrieve the number later.
It is pretty low, in the hundred less than 200 if my pea brain is working.
65 Wildcats used the T-89 3-speed, column shift.
I think the key to when they used the Ford 3-speed was when the car was to be a floor shift.
