I've been watching this car for the past month or so. It's come down in price considerably, but alas, it's still out of my price range for the time being. Enjoy! http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1980-Pontiac-Acadian-with-a-Buick-231-cid-3-8-L-V6-REDUCED-W0QQAdIdZ57919183
Just FYI, Chevettes had a really serious flaw in the front suspension ... you can google it or check into it further and all the added weight of the V6 may further stress it. Just check into it. Of course, for the right price ... I had a friend in high school back in the late 80's who put a moderately-built SBC 327 into a Vega ... let's just say I'm lucky to be still alive. I see the attraction here ... power-to-weight on this Chevette could be a lot of fun.
Hot Rod did a feature where they put a 472 caddy motor in one with a Mustang rear end. 11 second car.
Why just 11 seconds? Heck, that's an 8 liter engine with a seat bolted on to the air cleaner. No traction?
