Is that an 8" or 10" wheel? What backspacing? Looks awsome. That's the exact tire I had picked out.:TU:

did you do any modifying or is that wheel well stock?

15X8 inch wheel 4 1/2 backspacing....just clears the frame rail by 1/2 inch and just clears the wheelwell moulding by 1/2 inch at the lower front by the rocker panel...plenty of room everywher else

I ran a best of 116 mph last year....anyone know if I should be worring about tire growth at that mph??

    Johnno,
The only problem will be making turns, "GO SLOW" ! I hooked the wheel moldings on my "X" with the tires having that type of clearance. If the car hooks and doesn't dip in the rear too much, it should be fine.
    Good luck!

Mike Garrison ripped a wheel well a couple years back at BG on his green car...might ask him how tall a tire he was running.

im debating going with a 10 or 12.

theres plenty of room (once the outside is slightly trimmed) but im worrying about driveability (turning and dipping, etc)

Wait til we post the pics of the "alteration job" we did on Johnno's wheelwell lips in Bowling green. Here's a hint: I lent Johnno the same tool for that same purpose that Rick M. needed to borrow it for on Buick day at Englishtown a couple of years ago!

No, no, no. You're thinking like a normal, rational human being. You have to think like a trio of knuckleheads who don't have a baseball bat to do it the normal way. :Dou:

If memory serves me correctly, it was either a 3 or 5 lb short sledge hammer. Doug also uses it for skull cracking when appropriate:laugh:

my guess was tire iron, using the tire as leverage to "expand/modify "the well:laugh:
