I have a 1979 P/U with a blown 250. I am thinking of putting a 455 out of a Buick Electra. Can anyone give any good suggestions on how to complete this project. I was wondering what kind of engine setup is in the 74 Electra. Is it a 2 bbl or 4bbl? Is it a 4 bolt main or 2 bolt main. I would like to know that ends and outs because I would like to eventually make my truck into a sleeper. Any suggestions?
hello Do a search on "chevy truck swap." I did one earlier today, I am thinking of putting a 455 in my 78 blazer. Wiese said frame mounts off of an electra had 2 matching bolt holes. Easy stuff, there are photos as well.
