I just wanted everyone to get this on your calendar. The Puget Sound Chapter of the BCA will be holding the 20th Annual All Buick Open in Puyallup, Washington, Saturday June 22nd.

This show is the largest Buick show in the Pacific Northwest with 100 - 175 Buicks typically in attendance each year, rain or shine.

Address is 115 2nd Avenue SE, Puyallup WA in case anyone is using Mapquest for directions.

Show starts at 10, but parking starts at 8 am, and voting closes at 1. Aiming for around 3-3:30 pm for awards. Peer Judging with 20+ classes.

Lots of good food and fun, and there is a street fair going on, all the stores are open, and there are arts and crafts booths, food booths, BEER GARDEN , live bands, tractor display, etc., perfect for those that don't want to spend all day looking at Buick's (not sure who that would be).

Hope to see you all there!

I will try and get a flyer to post here as well.

Jamie: I'm at the Hampton Inn on South Meridian. Picked it mainly as it has underground parking, so I can detail the car at bit after the drive down on Friday.

Robert, in case you're checking in on this topic, I look forward to seeing you and your '67 Wildcat there. If your friend is able to join us with the '68 Electra 225, so much the better!

Thanks, Chris, for posting the topic here. This is always a great event.

Chris, I am guessing the show is held the third weekend of June every year?? I have always wanted to do a visit to that part of the country, and not just sit in an airport!! Mark

I spent all day Saturday working on the wagon getting it ready for the show (and a summer of camping trips). Weather is looking good and they will even have that replacement bridge span across the Skagit River so I don't have to detour off the I-5... it's all coming together.

Forecast as of today is showing partly sunny and low to mid 70's for Saturday. We already have 76 pre-registered (usually have about 60-70), looks like it will be a good turnout, I am guessing 125+ Buicks if the weather holds.

If you are on the fence about coming, jump off the fence and head on over!

Currently appears that I'll be able to have both my '59 Electra and '71 Centurion there.

Chris, what will you be driving this year?

    Hey Guys,

I'm new here. Hopefully I will make it next year. The car isn't quite on the road yet (still putting it back together after repaint and some minor modifications). I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures from the event. I hope you all have fun at this.

    Later,

    Dave

It is going to clear up Jamie, don't give up! Here is the report from this morning:

As this pesky area of low pressure finally moves off to the east -- it's still leaving us with some scattered sprinkles and patchy fog. We'll dry out later today and even see some sunshine across Western Washington with highs in the mid 60s.

Saturday is still looking good -- with patchy fog in the morning and a decent amount of afternoon sunshine. Perfect walking/running/jogging weather for the Rock-N-Roll Marathon. Thanks to a weak area of high pressure -- temperatures should still reach the low-mid 70s.

    I will be driving a Buick. :shock::bla:
