Without a show/swapmeet, I doubt it. Going to plan on making the Beaver Springs event next year to help it grow & hopefully become bigger than Cecil was.

I know Kirban Performance is coming to vend & pretty sure Fred Weisse is bringing stuff as well. Bill Lagna also brings a bunch of stuff.

John...what sort of racing are you planning? Quick 8 and V8, Q16 and V8? Or all run one class?
    Thanks

Probably just 2 classes as I don't expect many cars. I don't have sponsor money so probably do a $50 gambler class & a $20 class. Will have to ask at the driver's meeting.

If this is happening next year both my son and I will both be racing. Neither of our cars were in a position to race this weekend. I did drive my GS 455 Conv there and had a great time and saw some awesome cars.

Was that your red 70 conv? Sharp looking car. Thx to all that came out yesterday. Had about 40 plus Buicks in attendance & thx to Willy Wager for setting up the cash day race money. HRParts & Yardley as well for donating money to the racers.

It was a great day. Too bad more Buicks couldn't make it.....
Raced my son Matt for the first time and he got me and continued on to take 1st place! He drove the 72 SunCoupe 2 hrs each way and ran 12.20s. Motor has over 100K miles and has been in car since 1988. He plays drag racing video games (there are some great ones out there now) and had fun doing the REAL thing. Car was super consistent considering it's a street car with DOT tires, no electric fan or water pump.

    BQUICK ran a 10.14 131....1.40 60ft...not bad for a 19 yr old motor.
Air was decent (500-900ft altitude) but I've seen minus 500ft at Cecil before.

Thanks to John/JohnJR and Willy for putting it together!
