Thank you very much, that means a lot! My grandmother actually bought it new in 69' and my dad did the frame off restoration for her in the late 90s.

Great looking car came by mid morning. There were so many cars, unbelievable the showing. They sold out of car spots Saturday morning and were moving things for the overflow just to fit them in. Just crazy how many people showed up. Judges had a busy day ahead. My son tracked how much we walked, did 7 miles by 11am on Friday before we got a golf cart and another 5 on Saturday before we left.

Ames put on a great show, will be going back next year hopefully with the car completed.

2022 pontiac nationals in the books. Certainly had some ups and downs. A major down was in trying to change our center caps on the car to try and get a couple more points, and in the process of doing so the last center cap made us pull the wheel off to mount the new cap (the way it mounted to the wheel was a flat plate that bolts from the back). Tightening the lug nuts on the wheel was going good until it wasnt. The last lug nut decided to snap off the wheel stud before it was even remotely tight. The good news for those of you wondering ,yes, loctite gel super glue works wonders to glue the lug nut and wheel stud together so the judges dont see 4 lug nuts on 1 wheel. Even held up drivig 15mph around the show grounds, i couldnt believe it
