I am looking "hard" at a 2012 F-250 extended cab at the local dealership/ stealership. Actually, They have 2. 1 is a loaded demo with 7,000 miles with alot of the pimp daddy options that I may never use. 6 foot box with fabric interior, sync, whatever the heck that is and a console. The other is an 8 foot box with 80 miles on the clock. With discounts, trade ins and haggling both are within $300.00 of each other. About $37K which is alot of money , at least to me but the old 1995 GMC with 168,000 miles is about at it's useful end. Chevy & GMC's , the 2500 models, 3/4 tons are harder to come by, for the 2012's out there. Any 2012 F-250 owner's here that can chime in? I do not want to get into the debate about FORD vs. GM but would like some real recommendations here on the board. Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan. If I do go ahead with this purchase, my 1998 Chevy 3500 turbo diesel dually 5-speed will be for sale in the Spring. S. Carolina truck which just turned 100,000 miles. Again, Thanks.

What engine do they have? Gas or Diesel? If diesel please google the engine for know issues.

Please do your due-dilegence as Ford has many issues with their V10's and Diesels...

Good Luck and may the Truck Gods Smile Upon you....

Forgot to mention, both are 6.2 gas engines. The diesels do have some issues but way too expensive for my budget. Do they still manufacture a V-10??? Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
