The new 2006 Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag race tape is now available. I taped all but three runs in the first shoot-out. (Rest room emergency...) All other runs in the shootout are on tape along with runs made after the shootouts were over. About three-quarters of the tape includes Friday's qualifications, but I had to save space to get the shootouts. If you ran Friday, your car is on the tape (maybe several times). The 2006 tape is just shy of 2 hours long. The best way to reach me (since I'm not really computer literate) is to e-mail me directly at: jpalma@abcs.com. My phone:765-569-9222. Or send a check to: Jerry Palma, 5027 S. Slaven Rd., Montezuma, IN, 47862. The tapes are still only $15.00 each, and I pay the postage. Good Deal. To get as much racing on the tapes as possible, I didn't hold on the scoreboards very long. For longer exposure on the boards, push the pause button! If you liked previous tapes, this one won't disappoint you. Thanks for your business...I appreciate it. Regards...Jerry
I'll have to get one to catch up on what I missed in my abcense. Thanks Jerry !!! PS - I now have a reputation for working on Studebakers .... is that a good thing ???? uzzled:
'06 Drags Tape Brian, Thanks for the response...I'll look for your order in the mail. I'm copying tapes as fast as I can (in real time) and I've got some on hand ready to mail. Even better...if you'll give me your address, I'll get an '06 off to you and your check and the tape can cross in the mail. Deal? Thanks...Jerry
incoming!! Jerry, I'll be dropping a check in the mail this week! Thanks for taking the time to make these tape's, give's those of us who raced a chance to watch the races too :TU:
Tom: You make a great point here. We racers don't see much racing, or even hear the announcers (Diego and Scott) in the staging lanes to know what's going on with our friends. I finished my match in 2 rounds (actually was over in one round with the big DQ), but really enjoyed watching the last half of the second round and all the third rounds after I was done. I can see why the grandstands are filling up more each year. This racing is not just for the racers (like bracket racing), but a lot more fun to watch. You really don't know who's going to win at the tall end when they're evenly matched, but you do get to see the beginnings and mid track action better. Kudos to Jerry for preserving that on tape for us. Thanks. :TU:
Got my tape. :TU: Whole lotta good watching......I didn't even make it through the first round. Playing it as a two part mini series.
Tape Brian, Glad you got the tape and like it. I never thought of it as a two-part mini-series, but whatever works is good! Thanks for the order. Cheers, Jerry
